RAMSEY'S DINER $$

(Breakfast only on weekends)

This local family-owned restaurant has become a Kentucky tradition, noted as having the best hot brown in the Bluegrass.    Ramsey’s has received numerous awards over the years.  I think you’ll find Ramsey’s to be a very nice choice for a family-oriented restaurant with great food, good service and fair prices.  There are four locations in Lexington.  The closest is located at 151 W Zandale.

MERRICK INN $$$$


The Merrick Inn has been synonymous with genteel, Southern dining for more than 40 years.  It’s a great place for a special occasion, or a romantic dinner for two.  Known in the area as the place to see, and be seen with impeccable food and great service.  Reservations Necessary, except in bar area. Located just ten-minutes from your unit at 1074 Merrick Dr.  Phone: 859-269-5417.

MI MEXICO $$


Mi Mexico is a Casual Mexican restaurant with familiar fare & a cantina doling out margaritas in a range of sizes. We love their pineapple fajitas!!!  Located about 15 minutes from your rental, at 818 E New Circle Rd.
Open Daily 11a-10p (Friday & Saturday open till 11p)

GUISEPPE'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT $$$


Fine Italian restaurant with live jazz in the lounge. Dinner 7 nights a week. Romantic intimate tables. Fresh fish and seafood, hand cut steaks, pasta, homemade desserts.  Located 15-20 minutes from your unit, located at 4456 Nicholasville Rd.  Hours Sun-Thu 4p-9p, Sat & Sun 4p-10p.

WINDY CORNER MARKET $$


Ready for a scenic drive?  About 20-25 minutes from here, you’ll find Windy Corner Market, a Restaurant fashioned after an old country store amid some of America’s legendary horse farms.  Windy Corner uses fresh ingredients from local farmers.  Their menu consists of breakfasts, sandwiches, seafood, and bakery goodies.  Dinner specials range from meatloaf to steamed lobster, from local pasta to catfish.  Wine and beer available.  Located at 4595 Bryan Station Rd.  Open Tue-Sun 11a-8p (Closed Monday)

MALONE'S $$$$


Malone’s is Lexington’s favorite restaurant for phenomenal steaks and prime rib.  Meals also come with a bottomless Lexingtonian salad.  Service is impeccable.  The closest Malones is a ten-minute drive from here in the Lansdowne Shoppes.  However, if you prefer patio dining, we suggest you drive a little further to the Palomar location.  Both locations hours are 11a-10p, 7-days a week.

Bourbon & Toulouse $$


Delicious Cajun & Creole specialties (including many gluten-free options) in simple, colorful surroundings.  Bourbon & Toulouse is only ten-minutes away, located at 829 Euclid Ave.
Hours are 11a-9p Mon-Sat, Closed Sunday

Sutton's $$$


Sutton’s offers delicious Italian food made from scratch in a family type atmosphere.  We usually get their Italian Sampler, and are never disappointed.  Located just ten-minutes from your rental, at 110 N Locust Hill Dr (right off Richmond Road).   Open 11a-10p Daily, Closed on Mondays

Palmer's Fresh Grill $$$


Palmer’s is the only place I can think of in Lexington where you can experience delicious seafood, juicy steaks, chicken or chops – all with a beautiful waterfront view.  The atmosphere can be family oriented, or intimate.  The ducks, swans and fountains will compliment your experience.  Palmer’s is only 15-minutes away at the corner of New Circle Road and Nicholasville Road.  The address is 161 Lexington Green Circle.  Hours: Fri & Sat 11a-10p, Sunday 11a-9p, Wed & Thu 4p-9p, Closed Mon & Tue

Bear and the Butcher $$


Bear and the Butcher is a restaurant / bar with a contemporary industrial vibe and killer tacos and sandwiches.  Our favorite is the Shrimp Tacos!!!  The staff is very friendly.  The upstairs balcony is a relaxing place to see Chevy Chase traffic roll by.  Bear and the Butcher is only 5-minutes away, located in the heart of Chevy Chase at 815 Euclid Ave.  Street parking is free Mon-Fri after 5p; and all day on Sat & Sun.  However, finding a parking space during busy times can be a challenge.  You might consider taking an Uber or Lyft.   Hours: Fri & Sat 11a-10p, Sun 11a-8p, Tue-Thu 4p-9p, Closed on Monday

Tolly Ho $$


Where do you go when you're hungry at 3am?  Tolly Ho is a 24-hour university-area burger & breakfast joint serving American favorites in casual surrounds.  Located about 15-minutes from your rental, at 606 S Broadway.
